Dhamra Port is an all weather, multi-user and Greenfield deepwater port in
Bhadrak District. It caters to the hinterlands of the north-eastern states,
West Bengal,
Bihar, parts of eastern
Uttar Pradesh and
Madhya Pradesh.
Dhamra Port has a draught of 16 m alongside berthing facility and handles bulk cargo such as cooking coal, thermal coal and iron ore. The port has the facilities of two berths and two feeder ports.
