Devaloka

Devaloka (abode of the Devas/Gods) is a concept in Hindu Mythology. It is also called swarga or heaven. It is also one of the different levels of happiness.

Devaloka is attainable in the following order; Manushya (humans) are believed to evolve into Devagandharva, who live in Devagandharva Loka. Devagandharvas evolve into Pithrus, who live in Pithruloka (world of dead ancestors). Pithrus evolve into Ajaajan, who in turn evolve into Devas (lower Gods). Devas live in Devaloka. Devaloka is followed by the worlds of Indra, Brahaspati and Prajapathy.
