Deer Horn Fighting

Deer Horn Fighting is a martial art of Tamil Nadu, in which very sharp deer horns are used as weapons. Deer horns are held in both hands or in one only. The skilled fighters can protect themselves with quick movements of twisting and turning. For attacking, plugging movements are used. Tremendous practice is necessary to learn to wield the weapon. This weapon can be used against an opponent armed with knife, dagger and poles.
