Danta




Danta is a taluk headquarters town in the Banaskantha District of Gujarat. Situated near the Gujarat-Rajasthan border, this place was the capital of Parmar Rajputs. Majority of the people belong to Bhil Tribe.

The town has two beautiful palaces. Ambaji Temple and Shri Kumbhariyaji Teerth are the nearby pilgrim centers.

Abu Road Railway Station is the nearest railhead and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is the closest airport.
