Dahanu-Bordi Beach

Dahanu-Bordi Beach is located in Thane District of Maharashtra. This beach has a long coastline and large areas of the beach are covered with the Chickoo (fruit) orchards.

Fringed with casuarinas, Dahanu-Bordi Beach is a very safe beach where the water for half a kilometre does not rise above the waist. The beach is near to Udwada, a famous place of worship of the Parsis.

Mumbai is 145 km away from Dahanu-Bordi Beach. Nearest railhead is Gholwad (2 km). It is also accessible from Dahanu 15 km on western railways.
