Corn Poppy




Corn Poppy is an erect, branched and very variable annual. Its petals are mucilaginous and bitter, and are used for cough or hoarseness. The fresh petals are useful in preparing galenicals. Syrup or tincture is used for coloring medicines and food materials.

It is also known as Red Poppy and Rakta Khakasa.
