Common Impatiens




Common Impatiens (Impatiens wallerana) is a popular flowerbed plant of family Balsaminaceae found in topical areas. This summer annual is seen in different colors such as red, salmon, orange, pink and white.

The plant has thick stems and medium green colored leaves. Sometimes leaves are dark green or reddish green, and with variegated forms. Impatiens is occasionally known as Touch-me-nots (Sensitive plant). Propagation is achieved through seedling and cuttings.

It is also known as Busy Lizzy and Jewel Weed.
