Medicines prepared from common dandelion are given for the treatment of gallstones, jaundice, muscular rheumatism and chronic disorders of kidneys and liver. It is used in the Chinese systems of medicine against breast cancer.
It is found commonly in Himachal Pradesh. Dugdapheni, Dudhli, Dudal, and Kanphul are its other local names.
