Common Crane (Grus grus) is a huge graceful gray bird with long legs. It has a long neck and curved tail feathers.
The size differs from 110 to 120 cm. There is a white band on both sides of the head and neck. Both pinions and legs are black and the bill is greenish-brown. Its sound is a loud, clanging, trumpeting call. The bird feeds on seeds, crops, insects, snails and worms.
