Common Blue Bottle (Graphium sarpedon teredon) is a common butterfly found in the
Himalayas and the wooded regions of South India. The wing span is about eight to nine centimeter. It is blackish in color and has greenish blue band formed of spots on the middle area of the wing. The butterfly is fond of the flowers of Lantana. It eats cinnamon, camphor, machilus and avocado.
