Colobus Monkey lives in primary and secondary forests along river banks. Diet consists of leaves, buds, seeds, shoots and fruits. It has a long, black fur coat with a white stripe running down the back side. The tail is bushy and exceeds the length of the body.
It is seen in territorial groups of 7 to 11 members, including a single male, females and young. Babies are all white at birth. It produces some noises to mark its territory and warn off danger. The monkey rarely comes down to the ground.
