Citron (Botanical name, Citrus medica) is a small bush with prickly branches and lemon yellow colored oblong fruits.
The fruit juice is refrigerant and astringent. The fruits have potent anti-scorbutic activity. It is mainly used in face wash gel.
It is also known as Bara nimbu.
