Chopta

Chopta is a small town in Rudraprayag District in Uttaranchal. It is situated near the state highway connecting Tilwara and Agastmuni. The place is surrounded by cities and villages such as Nagrasu, Dhankot and Jakholi. The Chamunda Devi Temple and the temples of Rudranath are easily accessible from here.

Rishikesh Railway Station is the nearest major railway station. Jolly Grant Airport serves this area.
