Cheyyeru River

Cheyyeru River is one of the major tributaries of Pennar River. It flows through the districts of Chittoor and Cuddapah . The basin of the river is aquifer potential area. Annamayya Dam, located at Badanagadda, is across the river.

A prime attraction on the bank of the Cheyyeru River is a Shiva temple, about 3 km west of Paturu.
