Chettuva Backwater

Chettuva River is one of the important watercourse systems in Thrissur District of Kerala. The good part of the river meanders through Chettuva, a historical village located 10 km from Guruvayoor. Azhimugham is where the Chettuva meets the Arabian Sea.

Chettuva Bungalow, Raja Islands and Chettuva Harbour are the major attractions on the river. Chettuva Beach is also worth visiting.
