Cheriyam is a small islet to the north of
Kalpeni Islands, in
Lakshadweep. It is a picturesque and uninhabited islet, enclosed by a huge shallow lagoon. A reef is formed between Kalpeni and Cheriyam Islands.
Cheriyam provides opportunities for a number of activities such as swimming, snorkeling and windsurfing. It can be reached either by sailing or on foot through a reef from Kalpeni Island.
