Chehni Kothi

Situated in Kullu Valley, Chehni Kothi, 20 ft high, is a 1500-year-old historic building. It was the fortified residence of Rana Dhadhia. Originally a 15-storied building, it has only 10 storeys as it lost the rest to an earthquake in 1905.

Kothi has a cone like appearance, and the ground floor is bigger in area compared to the upper storeys.

Located near Banjar, Chehni Kothi is 53 km from Kullu by road.
