Chavand is on the Babra- Dhasa road in Amreli District of Gujarat. It is situated 9 km to the north of Lathi and 11 km to the east of Babra.
Chavand is the birthplace of the poet Kavi Kant. Bhurakhiya Hanuman Mandir and Khodiyar Mandir are sites worth visiting at Babra. Amreli, famous for the manufacture of khadi, is also well connected with Chavand by road.
Bhavnagar Airport (80 km) and Lathi Railway Station are the nearest access points.
