Charkaman




Charkaman is a rectangular structure located near Charminar at Hyderabad. It was built by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah in 1591 towards the end of the plague that had ravaged Hyderabad. The legendary masterpiece of the Qutb Shahis, the Charkaman has survived over 4 centuries of natural and human interventions.
