Charcha Pass lies in between
Zangla and Titlo Sumdo in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is on the Charcha (6065 m), one of the known peaks in the Great
Himalayas.
A trek from Zangla via Base Camp towards Charcha La covers the dry valley and a glacier. On the way, one may also explore the side valley. The huge snow-capped peaks of the Karakoram Range stretching towards Central Asia can also be seen from the pass.
