Changalavatta

Changalavatta is a hanging oil lamp commonly found in South India. This lamp is hung from the ceiling using metal chains.

Known for its ornamental beauty, this lamp is often referred to as the Greek Lamp. It contains an oil tank with an attached ladle. The lamp is replenished with oil using this ladle.
