Chandraprabha was the eighth
Tirthankar among the 24 Jain Tirthankars. He was born to King Mahasena of Chandranana and Queen Lakshmana at Chandrapuri.
Chandraprabha became an ascetic in the prime of his youth. He attained enlightenment after three months of acute spiritual practices. Chandraprabha had 93 followers.
Chandraprabha attained Nirvana at Samet Sikhar. The emblem of Lord Chandraprabha is Crescent.
