Chandakadavu

Chandakadavu is a small settlement in Kottayam District of Kerala. It is situated about one km from Kottayam. The place is famous for the Pallippurathu Kavu Temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga. The temple is famous for Thiyyattu, a traditional ritual art form of Kerala. The annual festival, Kumbhakuta Mahotasva, celebrated in this temple attracts a large crowd. Kottayam Bus Station is nearby. Kottayam Railway Station and Cochin International Airport are the nearest access points.
