Chamrat




Chamrat lies on the Udaipur-Gramphu trekking route, nearly 10 km east of Namu, in the north-western side of Lahaul and Spiti District. It is a charming village at an altitude of 2950 m in Miyar Nala Valley. Hinsa is about 12 km south. Ramjak Peak, Shashur Monastery, Tayul Monastery, Khardong Monastery, Suraj Tal Lake, Gepang Goh Peak, Mulkila Peak and Chandra Tal are some of the prominent tourist spots near Chamrat. Kullu Manali Airport and Joginder Nagar Railway Station serve the village.
