Champasar Glacier

Champasar Glacier is in Uttarkashi District of Uttaranchal. Yamuna River originates from this glacier. It is located on the Kalindi Mountain, near the peaks of Bandarpoonch and Shrikantha. The glacier is at a height of 4,421 m above the sea level and is situated one kilometer ahead of Yamunotri Temple.
