Chaita Song

In the villages around India there are many folksongs pertaining to the seasons. Notable among these is the Chaita. This song derives its name from the Hindu month Chait (March-April), during which it is sung. The words in the song describe the beauty of the season. The rhythm is kept slow to maintain the charm of each word.
