Chabbi, popularly called Shobanapura, is a renowned Jain center located about 9 km from
Hubli. A 9th century Jain temple is the prime attraction.
Chabbi village houses many idols made of bronze and stones. The names of sculptors and donors are carved upon the pedestals. Numerous inscriptions of ancient rulers are found here, among them those illustrating the story of Jain saint Kanakanandi has special significance.
Hubli Junction Railway Station is the major railhead nearby and
Hubli Airport is the nearest airport.
