Calcutta Muslim Orphanage provides food, shelter and education to poor and destitute orphan children. This is a non-profit social organization on Syed Saleh Lane in
Kolkata.
There are two primary schools, one industrial school and a twenty-bedded hospital in the main building. A prayer hall is associated with this building. The orphanage permits boys of age groups five to eighteen to utilize the facilities.
Girls are housed in a separate building, located on Sherif Lane, with a primary school and a ten-bedded medical ward. Tailoring, knitting and hand works are trained here.
