British Library at
Ahmedabad was established in 1979. It is situated on the Bhaikaka Bhawan Law Garden Road near the Ellis Bridge. The library has a 24,500 strong collection of articles, which include books on economics, engineering, information technology, law, management and medicine.
Apart from books, the library showcases educational videos, home videos, CDs, children's books, periodicals and newspapers from Britain. Online access is another advantage to the subscribers of this library.
British Library provides different types of membership schemes for individuals, young learners, families, corporates and NGOs. It remains open from 11:00 to 19:00 hrs from Tuesday to Saturday, and on Sundays from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs.
