British Council Library




British Council Library is located at Nariman Point in Mumbai. It was established by the British Council of India in 1953. The library has a 35,000 strong collection of information resources, which include books, multimedia, journals and other reference materials.

The library provides the latest information in academic, technological, scientific and management sectors, in Britain and elsewhere. Special collections are set up to offer additional information on specialized areas. Online access is another advantage to the subscribers here. It also showcases educational videos, audio cassettes, CDs and periodicals.

The library provides different types of membership schemes for individuals, young learners, families and NGOs. It is open from 10:00 to 18:00 hrs from Monday to Saturday.
