Celebrated at Shantiniketan, Briksharopan is a festival of planting saplings. Briksharopan is celebrated in conjunction with Halakarshan, ploughing of fields.The festival which upholds the importance of environment protection is celebrated on the 22nd and 23rd day of August every year.
