Bright Babul Blue Butterfly




One of the commonest Afro-tropical butterflies, Bright Babul Blue (Azanus ubaldus) is common in the drier parts of India. Its principal host plant is Acacia. It is a migrant species and flies very fast. The male is seen basking early in the morning near damp patches.
