Blue-winged Leafbird (Chloropsis cochinchinensis), about 18 cm, is commonly found in India. The male has a green-body with a yellow head, black face and throat. It has a blue moustachial line, wing patch and tail sides. Female bird has a green head and blue throat. Young ones are similar to the female but lack the blue throat patch.
Blue-winged Leafbird inhabits in forest and open woodland. It feeds on insects, fruit and nectar.
Blue-winged Leafbird can be seen in the Namdapha National Park, Arunachal Pradesh.
