Blue Peach Faced Lovebird is bright green in color with a peach-pink patch covering the face and extending down the throat. Adult birds have a bright pink and red frontal band over the crown. Its tail is green with black and rust. The bird's beak is horn colored, eyes are black and legs are green mixed with gray. It has a blue rump patch.
The bird nests in small groups or flocks, in holes, under roofs or in empty nests. Diet consists of cereal seeds, sunflower and safflower seeds, fruit and millet spray.
