Bleeding Heart (Dicentra spectabilis) is a perennial herb of Fumariaceae family. It grows in average, medium wet, well-drained, and organically rich soil.

Flowers are heart-shaped, and have rose pink, red or white outer petals with strongly reflected tips. The inner petals of the flowers are white and exerted. The plant is used as informal fence. Bleeding Heart can be grown as pot plant by placing in well-rotted manure or compost. Propagation is by seeds and division of the roots.
