Black-breasted Weaver (Ploceus benghalensis) is a sparrow like bird known for its elaborately interwoven nests.
In breeding season males have brilliant golden-yellow crown, white throat and a black band separating the fulvous-white underparts. Non-breeding male and female has a brown crown and a black pectoral band, which is less developed. The bird has a prominent supercilium spot behind ear and narrow moustachial streaks, which are pale yellow. The bird is usually found in folks.
