Black Redstart (Phoenicurus Ochruros) is a small robin-sized bird of about 14 cm, generally found in rocky hills and mountain towns and villages and in winter coastal cliffs and beaches. It got the name from the plumage of the male, which is grey-black in colour.
The bird feeds on insects, spiders, worms, berries and seeds.
Black Redstart can be found in the Naharh Wildlife Sanctuary, Harayana.
