Black-Naped Hare

The Black-Naped Hare (Lepus nigricollis) is a terrestrial animal. It measures about 40-50 cm. The hare has a grayish-white coat with a blackish patch on the nape, and a short and grayish tail. The under parts are whitish. Black-Naped Hare is distributed throughout India except in high altitudes.
