Biswarupa Theater, formerly called Natya Niketan, is a spacious auditorium equipped with a total of 900 seats. It was started a century ago and is blessed with the performance of the famous actor Sisir Bhaduri who acted here for many years. Presently, the theater is used mainly by different organizations for various functions and ceremonies.
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is about 16 km from the city. Howrah and Sealdah are the nearest railway stations.
