Bindweed

Bindweed (Convolvulus microphyllus) is naturalized in the plains of northern India. The plant is a fulvous herb covered with hair. The leaves are linear to oblong, small and sub-sessile. Flowers, one to three, are axillary and pedicelled. The sepals are linear to lanceolate and hairy.

Bindweed is reported to be a famous memory-improving drug. It is also recognized as a psycho-stimulant and tranquilizer.
