The ancient city of Bijolia is located on the
Bundi-
Chittorgarh Road. The place has three old temples of
Lord Shiva of the 9th century style of architecture. The entrance to the temple is through a carved archway with a fine image of the elephant headed
Ganesh. In ancient times Bijolia was known as Vindhyavali and a hundred temples were said to have existed there.
