Bhutan Glory




Bhutan Glory (Bhutanitis ocellatomaculata), a highly priced, much sought after variety of butterfly, is common in Sikkim, Assam, Manipur, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.

The abdomen and the upper forewing are dull black with slim yellow lines. Thorax is also dull black in color. Wingspan is around 9 to 11 cm. Hind wing is many-tailed and has orange-red scrap with blue-gray spots, which are inwardly tipped with white.
