Bhumi Devi

Bhumi Devi is the word used for addressing the Earth. ‘Bhumi’ means Earth and ‘Devi’ means Goddess. She is the goddess of abundance. Bhumi Devi is one of the two wives of Lord Vishnu. Rituals are done for Bhumi Devi on special occasions.
