Bhiwani District




Bhiwani District of Haryana is called the small Khashi of India because of numerous temples. Boundaries are shared with the districts of Hissar, Jhunjhunu, Churu, Mahendragarh, and Rohtak. The total area is 4,778 sq km, and town Bhiwani is the district headquarters.

Agriculture is the main occupation. Bajra, cotton, wheat, and sarson are the major crops. Star building, Loharu, Charkhi Dadri and Tosham are the places of tourist importance. Naurangabad Mound is an archeological site under excavation.
