Bhavsars claim to be the descendants of
Kshatriya, inhabiting in
Gujarat. Their traditional occupations were dyeing and calico printing. Nowadays many of them have given up this profession and have become confectioners, tailor, washer men and cloth and pretty brassware merchants.
