Bhapel

Bhapel is truly a treasure trove of breathtaking scenery and great landscape value. Situated on the Rahatgarh Road in Madhya Pradesh, this lovely hamlet is around 15 km from Sagar. It is also called Phular as there is a temple of Mahadeo, locally called Phulnath. A massive encounter took place at Bhapel between the British force and the insurgents on 15 December 1857.

Nainagiri, Shri Digambar Jain Chaudhari Mandir and Shri Parshwanath Digamber Jain Atishaya Kshetra are nearby. The annual religious fair conducted here on the Poornima Day after Diwali is witnessed by a large number of people.

Saugor Railway Station and Bhopal Airport are the nearest access points.
