Bhairi Cave




Bhairi Cave lies near Karjat in Raigad District of Maharashtra. It is a giant cave near a Bhairi Pinnacle and animal sacrifices still persist in this place. There are some cooking utensils in the cave. There is a myth that if someone tries to steal those things, they are thrown in to the valley by the God of Bhairi. From Karjat Railway Sation, proceed to Sandishi via Khandpe (8 km) to reach Bhairi Cave.
