Bhagavathipattu

Bhagavathipattu is the song glorifying Bhagavathi, another name for the goddess Parvati. It is also known as Mutipurapattu (the adoration of the crown of the Bhagavathi), and Nallamapattu. The song is usually performed by the Brahmins, Theyyampadis and other castes.
