Bhadrakali Temple




Bhadrakali Temple is a small shrine situated near Agali, in Mannarkkad taluk of Palakkad District. The temple is dedicated to Bhadrakali. There are a number of interesting idols situated in the temple premises. Most noteworthy feature is the idol of the one of the outer guardians of the temple - the sculpture was that of an Indian Army soldier rather then the normal or traditional demon or warrior figure.

There is a small hole in the temple area which was used to sacrifice animals to the goddess.

Pattambi Railway Station is the closest railway station.
