Betaga

Betaga is situated in Satchand block ('block' is an administrative unit) of South Tripura District and is around 60 km south of Udaipur. It has a population of 2,200 and is mostly inhabited by scheduled tribes.

Tourist destinations in the region include Pilak (a treasure house for Hindu and Buddhist sculptures), Lungthung and Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary. Belonia, Sabroom (on the National Highway 44) and Manu Bazar are the nearest major towns.
